Federal judges seeking belated COLA increases to appear before Federal Circuit
A group of federal judges challenging Congress’ denial of cost-of-living increases in judicial salaries in the mid-to-late 1990s will be back before the Federal Circuit in December. The circuit will review whether issue preclusion bars the judges from litigating their compensation clause challenge.
