Wolf Block Asks Justices to Review Ex-Partner’s Lawsuit

Wolf Block has asked the Pennsylvania Supreme Court to decide if a case by a former partner seeking severance payments can be removed to confidential arbitration. An appellate panel found ex-partner Michael Budin never signed a partnership agreement mandating arbitration and can therefore have his day in court.

The Am Law 100, the Early Numbers: Kaye Scholer Sees Revenue, Profits Dip

Kaye Scholer saw gross revenue dip 3.4 percent last year, while profits per equity partner slipped 6.4 percent and revenue per lawyer dropped 4 percent. Managing partner Michael Solow said the numbers are in line with targets for revenues and profits per partner, in part due to a strong first half of the year.
