Infringement Suit Against YouTube Revived by Circuit

Viacom International and other content providers this morning won reinstatement of their claims that YouTube is liable for $1 billion in damages for massive copyright infringement. The 2nd Circuit said that YouTube should not have been shielded from infringement claims under the safe harbor provision of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.
